The guys will be attending the New World Dance Annual Showcase tomorrow in Santa Clarita, California! Here’s the info from their MySpace:

New World Dance—Annual Showcase w/ Special Guests: NLT
Hart High School, Santa Clarita, California
Time: 4 PM
Cost : 18.00

NLT will be performing as a special guest in the annual showcase of the dance studio they came up in. Tickets will be on sale at the venue the day of the show.

Thanks so much to Ashley for letting us know about NLT being mentioned in a new article for the magazine Rolling Stone. The article was called “In Dark Times, Labels Look to Boy Bands” and it talks about how many major record labels are now pushing a new boy band to up their record sales.

Here’s where NLT was mentioned:

The reunited New Kids are selling out arena shows and recording a new album due in the fall — and nearly every major is pushing its own fresh group of singing, dancing dudes, including Warner Bros.’V Factory, Geffen’s NLT, Capitol’s Varsity Fanclub and Epic’s new Menudo.

I agree with what the article said, but one thing they could have added is that now the record labels need to learn how to promote their bands instead of relying on Bandemonium. NLT would be the biggest group out there if Geffen would just promote them better. Anyone else agree?

Make sure to pick up a copy of the August issue of Popstar! Magazine on July 1^st. A poster of NLT is featured in this issue!

If you haven’t already heard, Kevin will be on two episodes of a new HBO show! I posted about this back in May, but thanks to an email from Jenna I felt it would hurt to post about this again. The show is called “True Blood” and it premieres in September. According to IMDB.com his episodes will air in September & October, so be on the lookout for those!

As you all know, today is Kevin McHale’s 20^th birthday, so let’s all wish him a Happy, Happy Birthday!!!

The other half of the project is going to be a bunch of awesome graphics you guys sent in, but right now my computer isn’t saving anything I make or download for some reason, so I’m going to have to post that part later once I figure out what’s going on with it. But it will get done even if I have to do it on my dad’s computer! lol.

But enough about computer problems! It’s Kevin’s birthday and a time to celebrate! At least we got the first half of the project done fine! Everyone be sure to visit and read some of his birthday messages!

I’m going to go try and email NLT about it now (I hope their inboxes on MySpace are open…)

For those of you who live in the New England area and have the NESN channel, the Red Sox Report played “It’s On” during the montage in the episode that aired the week of May 26. I was so happy when I heard it! Kudos to whoever made the video.

Hey everyone! I’ve finally finished setting up Kevin’s birthday project so now everyone can contribute!

In the past, we’ve had people send messages in so that we could set everything up and send the final project to the boys, but we thought that that was to complicated and tedious for everyone, so I’ve made an easier alternative.

When you click on the picture link below, you’ll be directed to the first half of Kevin’s birthday project, which is a guestbook in which you can leave all your birthday messages! I’ll have to approve them to avoid spam, but everyone will be approved! After you sign the guestbook, if you’d like to send in a graphic, or a picture of you with a happy birthday sign, we will compile everything we recieve into the final birthday project we send to Kevin!
